Can I upgrade my accommodations?
Absolutely! All general admission tickets include access to BYOT (Bring Your Own Tent) camping. If you’d like to upgrade your experience, we are offering a limited amount of housing options for you to get in on.
When purchasing your ticket, you have the option to select from various options for accommodations (if they are not sold out). Upon purchasing a housing upgrade, you become the key-holder to the entire structure --- we encourage you to fill the beds however you see fit with loved ones, friends and family to maximize your festival experience! Want to upgrade but don’t have friends or family that are planning to attend? No worries! We’ve created an OM Rising Facebook group to help you self-arrange roommates or find a spot in an upgraded cabin, adirondack or teepee: http://bit.ly/OmRisingAccomodations
Important: Bedding is NOT included in ANY ACCOMMODATIONS, so bring your own pillows, sheets, and/or sleeping bags!
Also Important: Accommodation upgrades are only available to ticket-holding attendees. You cannot buy a teepee, cabin, adirondack or RV site without buying a ticket to the festival.
Teepee Tents: Sleep up to 4 people on twin camp mattresses.
Deluxe Queen Teepee Tents: Sleeps 4. In addition to 1 queen bed and 2 additional twin camp mattresses, they are also furnished with a rug, lantern, and nightstand.
Adirondacks: 3-sided cabins with curtains on the open side, each has 1 queen and 3 single beds with mattresses. They do not have electricity or lights. Sleeps up to 5.
Lower Cabins: Offering a variety of configurations, each cabin come with mattresses, electricity, lights, heaters, a mirror, and hooks. Sleeps up to 4.
Upper Cabins: located above the main lodge at the start of the campground loop, units include Memory Foam mattresses, electricity, lights, heaters, a mirror, and hooks. Sleeps up to 4.
Are you offering transportation to the event?
We’re focusing our efforts and resources on creating the best experience possible to ensure that everyone enjoys themselves once they arrive.
For this first year, there is no officially organized group transport being offered. But we’ve created a group on Facebook (join the Facebook group OM Rising : Ride Sharing to/from Camp Navarro) to help reduce our carbon footprint and carpool when possible.
We encourage attendees to make use of the Facebook group (see link above) for setting up rideshares and creating valuable connections with others making the journey.
What is the weather going to be like?
Check the weather in Navarro, CA leading up to the event, and prepare to be both warm at times and also make sure to have warm layers for the early morning and evenings so you are comfortable. The event takes place in October so we can typically expect 70s - 80s during the day and 40s - 60s in the evening. M
What should I wear?
Everybody has different needs in order to be comfortable in the redwoods for a couple days at a yoga and music gathering. Layers are key! Events will range from movement-based yoga classes to meditations to dance parties and everything and anything in-between. Mornings and evenings will be a little chilly, but during the day it should be a perfect late summer/early fall temperature. Please come prepared with what you feel you need to make this the most enjoyable experience!
What’s the bathroom situation like?
Each ticket comes with access to camping and showers. Some people may opt to upgrade their ticket for a private cabin, teepee tent or Adirondack. Plus EO essential oils is offering some amazing products in the showers!
You are welcome to also find nearby accommodations off-site, but we encourage you to stay at Camp Navarro with us :).
What do I need to bring?
Everyone will need the following: a yoga mat (if you plan on practicing with one, for some class you might want to and others not so much!), specific props (if you know you need them, i.e. yoga blocks or strap, your own water bottle, sunscreen, bug repellent, appropriate clothing for hot days, appropriate layers for cool nights (see above), a headlamp or flashlight, and snacks for when you need to eat between meals.
I want to camp! What do I need?
Make sure to bring a tent, a sleeping pad and a sleeping bag, if that’s your style.
Will food be offered throughout the weekend at the festival?
In addition to feeding your body and nourishing your communal soul at the Saturday night Farm-to-Table Dinner, where everyone in attendance has a seat at the banquet, food and beverage samples will be offered onsite through various food vendors. Plus we will offer food for purchase at the main lodge on Camp Navarro and with our exclusive food vendor Lydia's Fine Foods. While there are are nearby options a short drive away, you shouldn't need to leave the property if you choose not to.
Will I be able to prepare my own food?
Absolutely, as long as you can bring the proper gear necessary to prepare your own food. Fires are welcome ONLY in designated areas.
What should I NOT bring to this event?
Bad attitudes and potentially dangerous materials, of course! While we urge attendees to use their best judgement, we’d like to help out by being extremely clear about the following:
NO PETS, EXPLOSIVES, WEAPONS, OR ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES ARE ALLOWED!
Can I bring my child / children?
Absolutely! In fact, kids under 12 can come for free and we’ll be offering a variety of yoga classes for the little ones.
Can I bring my dog?
No. We love the pups but unless it is a registered service animal (with the relevant paperwork), this is a human-only event unfortunately.
Is there a minimum age requirements to enter the event?
All ages are welcome! Children under 12 are free.
What's the refund policy?
Sorry, no refunds. You are more than welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend however (see below).
Can you transfer your ticket?
You can transfer your ticket to someone else at no charge. Instructions can be found on Eventbrite.
How can my yoga studio become a partnering sponsor for the event?
